“The loss of a loved one is deeply painful and often beyond human understanding. However, as people of faith, we accept it as the will of Almighty Allah, who gives and takes life,” Sanwo-Olu said.
He added, “On behalf of my family, the people, and the government of Lagos State, I extend my deepest condolences to my brother Governor Umar Namadi, his wife, the siblings of the deceased, and the entire Namadi family over the untimely death of Abdulwahab.
“We also mourn with the Governor and the people of Jigawa State over the loss of Hajiya Maryam Namadi. These back-to-back tragedies are undoubtedly a heavy blow to the family and the state.”
Sanwo-Olu urged the Namadi family and Jigawa residents to remain strong in faith during this difficult time. He offered prayers for the departed, saying, “We join you in praying for the souls of Hajiya Maryam and Abdulwahab Namadi.
