SENATE PRESIDENT, DEPUTY, VISIT SENATOR LALONG, CONGRATULATE HIM AT 61

Senate President Godswill Akpabio and his Deputy Senator Barau Jibrin have congratulated Senator Simon Bako Lalong on his 61st birthday.

The Senate President and his Deputy who visited Senator Lalong alongside other distinguished Senators in his office after plenary of Tuesday 7th May 2024, described Senator Lalong as an accomplished politician and a dependable personality.

Akpabio said Senator Lalong has a proven track record of service to the society and patriotism which has stood him out as a leader to be relied upon any time.

The Senate President appreciated him for his contributions at the Red Chambers and said as a former Speaker, Governor, Minister and a trained lawyer, he has added value to legislative business of the 10th Senate.

He prayed God to continue to grant him more wisdom, good health and greater opportunities to serve his constituents, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

Earlier, some Senators had also visited their colleague in his office to wish him well and offer prayers.
