Senate Reveals 74 Committees with Wamakko, Lawan, and Yari as Chairmen

Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, unveiled the chairmen for the 74 full-standing committees of the 10th Senate on Monday. These committees were constituted following extensive closed-door deliberations.

Prominent figures named as committee chairpersons include Aminu Tambuwal for Housing and Urban Development, Adams Oshiomole for Interior, Ahmed Lawan for Defence, Abdulaziz Yari for Water Resources, and Gbenga Daniels for Navy.

Further committee heads encompass Jibrin Barau for Constitutional Amendment, Senator Godiya Akwashiki for Airforce, Buhari Abdulfatai for Aviation, Osita Izunaso for Capital Market, Cyril Fasuyi for Establishment and Public Services, Senator Seriake Dickson for Ecological and Climate Change, and Orji Kalu for Privatisation.
