Senator Akpabio Administers Oath to Newly Elected Senators

Senator Godswill Akpabio, the newly elected President of the Senate, conducted the swearing-in ceremony for the senators-elect of the 10th National Assembly on Tuesday.

According to Daybreak , following a brief recess, Sani Tambuwal, the Clerk of the National Assembly, officially declared Senator Akpabio as the Senate President. Akpabio secured 63 votes, while his rival received 46 votes.
