Senator Daduut Lauds President Tinubu For Approving Military Barrack In Bokkos

 

Senator Nora Ladi Daduut , has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the establishment of a military barrack in Bokkos local government area of Plateau state to curb the spate of killings in the council and the neighbouring Mangu, Riyom and Baraki-Ladi councils.

Senator Daduut who represented Plateau South Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly made this known after donating relief materials to victims of attacks in Mangu ,Bokkos and Barkin Ladi Local government council of Plateau state.

It could be recalled that this three local governments in the past six months have been under siege by gunmen which have resulted to killings and destruction of properties.

 

The barracks will be located at Miller Farm (Gads Buy) in the Mbar District of the Bokkos local government area of the state.

Daduut who described the attacks as unprovoked expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu would put an end to insecurity in the state .

 

According to her , the barrack, if established, will equally serve neighbouring states ,because of the proximity of the site, adding that once in operation, there will be a swift response to any attack.

Daduut also pledged to always support the downtrodden in the society .

She called on well-meaning Nigerians to give financial support to the victims of the attacks.

 

Items distributed by the Senator includes several bags of rice, cartoons of Maggie,and clothings .
