Senator Lalong Commiserates with Dame Pauline Tallen

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Simon Bako Lalong, visited the former Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, at her Abuja residence to offer condolences following the death of her son, Richard Adamu Tallen.

Lalong, who was accompanied by the member representing Bokkos/Mangu Federal Constituency, Hon. Ishaya Lalu, APC National Deputy Secretary, Hon. Festus Fuanter, and former Plateau State Liaison Officer in Abuja, Mr. Pius Yenshi, described the passing of Adamu as a significant loss to the Tallen family, Plateau State, and Nigeria as a whole.

He conveyed condolences on behalf of his family and the people of the Plateau South Senatorial Zone to the Tallen family, assuring them that his thoughts and prayers are with them during this challenging time.

Though acknowledging the deep pain of Adamu’s death, the Senator reminded the family that they must accept God’s will, as His decisions cannot be questioned or reversed.

Lalong urged the family to continue praying for the repose of Adamu’s soul and to uphold his legacy and achievements.

In her response, Dame Pauline Tallen expressed gratitude for the visit and words of comfort, stating that while the family is deeply saddened, they have surrendered to God’s will.

She added that funeral arrangements have been finalized, with the rites set to begin in Abuja, followed by services in Jos and Shendam, where Adamu will be laid to rest.
