Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has condoled with his former Commisioner for Information and Communication Hon. Dan Manjang over the passage of his mother Ngo Garos Bitrus Manjang who died at the age of 86.
Lalong in a message of commiseration described the death of the matriarch of the Manjang family as a big loss to the immediate family, the people of Riyom Local Government, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
Senator Lalong said Late Ngo Garos lived a fulfilled life of service to God and humanity by not only upholding her family and raising great children, but giving her late husband Late Rev. Bitrus Manjang the needed support to carry out his calling as a Pastor and evangelist.
He said “Ngo stood by her husband, a former Vice President of COCIN Rev. Bitrus Manjang through thick and thin and provided the conducive environment for him to serve God in various missionary fields planting churches and bringing the lost to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her service to the church and various communities within and outside Plateau State cannot be forgotten”.
While consoling her children, Grand children and great grand children, Lalong asked them to accept her demise as an inevitable call to eternity which is ordained by God for every human being.
He also asked them to continue to put into use the life lessons she taught them over the years as well as uphold her legacies of love, compassion, contentment and service to humanity.
