SENATOR LALONG ELATED AS ANOTHER HOUSE OF REPS MEMBER HON. AJANG ALFRED ILIYA MOVES TO APC

Leader of the APC in Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has again restated that the party in Plateau State remains a beacon of hope and remains the people’s choice.
Senator Lalong was at the House of Representatives Chambers to witness the decamping of Hon. Ajang Alfred Iliya (Mai Guza) to the APC from Labour Party.
Lalong who was welcomed into the Chambers by Speaker Rt. Hon. Tajjudeen Abbas was commended for his leadership of the party in the State which is bringing in more people particularly elected leaders.
The Speaker said he was not surprised of the feat because Senator Lalong has proven time and again that he has the capacity to provide purposeful leadership having successfully led the APC Presidential Campaign which brought in President Bola Tinubu into office.
He welcomed the Member into the APC and described his decision as a well considered one that will afford him the opportunity to further serve his people and bring to them dividends of democracy.
Senator Lalong expressed joy that the APC remains resolute in Plateau State not being at the helm of affairs in the State.
He called on leaders, stakeholders and members of the party to remain united and work as a family for greater exploits in coming elections.
In another development, Senator Lalong has paid a working visit to the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Mrs. Esther Didi Walson-Jack to congratulate her on her appointment and also discuss other matters of importance to his Constituency.
The meeting held behind closed doors gave them the opportunity to commit to work together for the good of the nation.
