Senator Wamakko Commend Ulamas For Fervant Prayers Towards Progress Of The State

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has expressed gratitude to Sokoto State Ulamas for their sustained fervent prayers for the success of the present administration led by Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto.

The Senator was speaking at his Gawon Nama residence in Sokoto when he hosted the leadership of Sokoto Ulamas and the Chief Imams of various Jumu’at Mosques in the metropolis to a Ramadan breakfast led by Sarkin Mallaman Sokoto, Mallam Yahaya Muhammad Boyi. 

Senator Wamakko explained that the Ulamas have been playing a very great role long before now which he attributed as part of the successes being recorded in the state.

Bashar Abubakar in a statement said the Senator used the medium to call on them to continue to pray for the federal, and state governments for more rapid development in the country.

Also hosted during the breakfast was the leadership of Yoruba community residence in sokoto led by Sarkin Yorubawa Alh. Muritala.

On the other hand,the leadership of the Northwest University Sokoto,led by its Vice Chancellor,Prof. Mukhtar Umar Bunza were also at the residence of the senator for the same breakfast.

Senator Wamakko thanked all those that came for the breakfast even as he wished them all the best in their daily affairs.

Three Islamic scholars offered Special prayers for Allah’s continued blessings and forgiveness.

They are Chief Imam of Sultan Muhammad Bello Jumu’at Mosque, Imam Malami Akwara, Chief Imam of Sheikh Usmanu Bin Fodiyo Jumu’at Mosque Mallam Abubakar Shehu Na Liman and Sarkin Mallaman Sokoto Mallam Yahaya Muhammad Boyi.

The breakfast had in attendance many Islamic scholars, Imams,and academia and other important personalities.
