The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence and Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Anti Corruption, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has commenced the rehabilitation of the Kwalfa Jumaat Mosque, in Bodinga Local Government of Sokoto State.
This was contained in a release signed and issued by the media assistant to the Senator, Bashir Rabe Mani.
This invaluable gesture was in fulfilment of the pledge the former Governor of the State made, penultimate Friday , when he prayed the Jumaat Congregational prayer at the Mosque .
A visit to the project site revealed that , total rehabilitation works of the Mosque was in progress , with many workers seen busy in action.
It was also happily observed that, the Mosque was being given a general facelift, while the project will soon be completed and commissioned , owing to the commendable speed it was being done .
Wamakko, also a Member , World Muslim League , has been routinely executing such projects , to make worship much easier for the Islamic adherents .
