Senator Wamakko Symphatises With Gada Lg Communities Over Flood Destruction

Apc Leader In Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (Sarkin Yamman Sokoto) Has Commiserated With The People Of Gada Local Government Area Of The State On The Recent Flood Disaster That Ravaged Many Houses, Farmlands, And Livestock.

In A Statement Signed By His Media Assistant Bashar Abubakar, The Senator Described The Incident As Shocking And Disheartening.

While Sympathizing With The Victims Of The Inferno, Senator Wamakko, Who Represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, Prayed To Allah The Almighty To Avert The Re-occurrence Of The Unfortunate Incident.

The Report Said About 1,700 People Have Become Homeless As Their Houses Were Destroyed While Almost 600 Hectares Of Farmlands Were Said To Have Been Submerged During The Flood.

The Report Added That Villages Affected By The Unforeseen Incident Include; Dantudu, Balakozo, Gidan-tudu, And Tsitse Respectively. The Unfortunate Incident Occurred Last Week On Wednesday During The Heavy Downpour In The Area.

Though No Live Was Lost, Many Livestock And Foodstuffs Were Lost During The Incident.
