Smart Adeyemi is one man in the midst of many people in the political circle of Kogi West Senatorial District who has made an indelible mark which will definitely out live him as a good representative of the people.
His deft use of resources at his disposal has continued to endear him to so many. A custodian of traditional values, respect and excellence whose integrity as a Senator is a touchstone to his close associates as a man of indispensable value.
Today, in Kogi State, the name Smart Adeyemi has become a household name, aside from his proven antecedents in politics, he brings to the table over 20 years of active practice as a Professional journalist, politician and a successful business owner who has thousands of people employed in his business.
His long years of experience has made him develop ethical values and virtues that have endeared him to the masses. So Kogi West vision to have Smart serve the people better with a focused, credible, resourceful, pragmatic, and visionary mandate in the red chamber again is to ensure remarkable difference from what it has been in the last four years.
Adeyemi is perhaps the only one in the district who have the record and the war chest to retain the APC fortune in Kogi West. During his terms at the Senate, and was credited with many landmark achievements.
He has so far surpassed any other Senator in the district both in the past and present in terms of construction of physical structures and embarking on human developments having constructed over 102 projects and aided the employment of over 350 youths. He also sponsored 32 Bills and Motions while at the senate, among them was a bill establishing the National Agricultural Loan and Development Commission and the bill establishing the Abuja Geographic Information System.
Smart Adeyemi going there again will not only be in the interest of kogi west but kogi state at large! Smart Adeyemi is the man of the people. He is the only candidate that has grassroot structures and framework that drive huge support of the masses scattered in the district. He has physical presence, foot soldiers and staunch supporters who are always on ground to give him the needed support.
The 2019 elections won’t just be about promises of what to do, it is about what has been done, a case of candidates showing their report card to the people and letting them decide if they are truly worthy of their vote. Adeyemi is not just running on promises but on report of what he has done.
History they say is not everything, but it is a start point, history is a clock that people use to tell their political and cultural time of the day. It is a compass they use to find themselves on the map of human geography, it tells them where they are, but more importantly where they must be, Senator Smart Adeyemi has therefore put his name in the book of history through his good work.
SSA will be a very tough candidate to beat no matter whom the regrouping PDP fields against him, especially in a year when APC is sure of retaining its victory at the general elections come February 2019.
Adeyemi is “SMART”, who wants the best for Kogi West and we cannot but support him to return to the Senate.
