By Muhammad  Ibrahim,Sokoto

Admitting the rise of voters between Presidential and governorship elections, the APC chairman in the state Isah Sadiq Achida said it was because electorates are tired of the PDP leadership in the state.

He said the PDP leadership has denied the populace of portable drinking water, right to sound education, Health, and rural development as well did not receive any attention.

On the allegation of violence as accused by the PDP chairman, Achida said it is on record that at a ceremony marking the declaration of Ahmad Aliyu as the governor-elect, APC urged their supporters to stay away from any act of violence during celebrations, and then expressed confidence that their supporters have taken heed of their advice.

He similarly stated that the allegation aimed at their Director General Campaign Council who doubles as the Minister Police Affairs is very laughable as it portrays the PDP with double standards adding that when PDP won Presidential election they celebrated but now complaining of violence and double face.

He further said Tambuwal deceived members of the general public through connivance with a clique of the Nigerian Press .and Judiciary into making the world believe that he enjoys the widest support among the people of Sokoto state adding that this has been aided by his importation of sophisticated political inteiques and technology based manipulation.

However,Achida used the medium to symphatise with the seasonal farmers of Goronyo,Wurno,Kware and Wamakko local governments over the loss of multimillion naira crops swept by water released from Goronyo Dam.

He advised the Authority concerned to as a matter of urgency intervene and compensate the loss and urged Sokoto Rima River Development Authority to consult Ministry of Agriculture and farmers before releasing water from the dam.
