Sokoto CoS Aminu Haliru Dikko Bags Service Delivery Award

Aminu Haliru Dikko mni, the Chief of Staff to the Sokoto State Government, has been honored with the prestigious Service Star Award (Service Delivery Award) by the Center for Patriotism and Values Re-orientation.

Presenting the award, Ambassador Muhammad Abdullahi Ado, the National Coordinator of the center, stated that the recognition was in honor of Dikko’s significant contributions to the development of Sokoto State and the nation at large.

“His astute leadership and outstanding administrative abilities have been pivotal to the progress of Sokoto State,” Abdullahi Ado said. He added that Dikko’s exemplary service to humanity and his track record of impactful contributions made him a deserving recipient of the award.

Abubakar Bawa, the Press Secretary to the State Government, also highlighted that the award was a well-deserved acknowledgment of Dikko’s exceptional achievements and his role in Nigeria’s development.

Upon receiving the award, Dikko expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Aliyu for the opportunity to serve the state, noting that the honor was not just for him, but for the entire state. He thanked the Center for Patriotism and Values Re-orientation for deeming him worthy of the award, calling it a clarion call to redouble his efforts in service to Sokoto and the nation.

He emphasized the importance of national orientation, urging the center to focus more on educating citizens to better understand the challenges facing Nigeria and how to overcome them.

“The upcoming generation must be well-informed on these challenges so that they can contribute meaningfully to achieving the Nigeria of our dreams,” Dikko said.

The Service Star Award was presented to Dikko in his office, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished public service career.
