SOKOTO: N6.8b Teaching Hospital By The State Government Ongoing

Briefing the newsmen who were on sight visit to the project site, the Project Consultant, Architect Kabir Umar Yabo   said the project that has commenced on the 29th of July this year was awarded at the cost of N6.8b naira with completion period of thirty months.
He further said the project commenced after the contractor showed his readiness shortly after land compensation and has achieved what was seen within less than a month.
“So much progress has been achieved, access roads leading to various projects were made, main heart of the whole was also made to mention but a few, The project is to support health activities in the state and beyond”.
In a related development, the supervising engineer of Government Girls Science Academy Kasarawa, Dr.Halilu Ladan said the project by the state government was awarded at the cost of N2.4b adding that the project was mobilised in August this year and the construction life would last for 18 months.
Earlier, the Sokoto state chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Isah Abubakar Shuni who sought for for technical explanation also informed the engineer that Journalists were at the site to see for themselves the stage of the project.
