SOKOTO: Snakes Take SSU As It Celebrates First Convocation

By Muhammad Goronyo, Sokoto

As the Sokoto State University is celebrating its first convocation ceremony snakes have taken over 100 houses earlier occupied by the University Vice Chancellor and staff quarters.
At the time newsmen visited the area ,all the houses are left vacant with nobody occupying a single house.
When contacted, the Information Officer of the Institution, Zayyanu Shehu became confused and told the newsmen to go and publish whatever they want.
The Information Officer failed to realize that this has to do with human lives as the one hundred houses would contain thousand of lives.
The University would hold lectures on Friday and the proper ceremony holds on Saturday as Professor Yemi Osinbajo and Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria serves as the chief quest.
