Executive Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board Alhaji Altine Shehu Kajiji made the made this known today shortly after he inspected the school to assess it’s situation.
Alhaji Altine Shehu said investigation become necessary so as to ascertain the remote courses of abandoning the projects that includes two story building and three blocks of classrooms most of which have reach appreciable stage of completion before they were abandon.
Abbas Tukur Sanyinna in a statement said, accordingly, the Chairman expressed dismay over the inability of the contractor to complete such gigantic projects which could have assist toward solving the problem inadequate classes in the school.
He said the State Universal Basic Education Board under his watch will do everything within it’s power to ensure all such abandon contracts have been completed by calling the contractors to go back to the site and complete them as long as records indicated that they were paid.
Kajiji however directed the immediate supply of sixty number double seater furniture to the school to ease the problem of inadequate furniture there.
He also directed the Principal of the school to formally write to the board all their problems for action.
Briefing the Executive Chairman on arrival,the Principal of the school Malama Shafa Tela said out of 1242 students of the school 722 are without furniture.
This according to her is couple with congestion of students in classes due to inadequate classrooms and lack of toilet facilities for teachers among others.
Malama Shafa Tela while thanking the subeb boss for finding time to visit the school despite his tight schedules,urged him to assist the school in what ever way possible.
