Sports for peace initiative: Twenty Bucks, Jalo Okwor strike accord, to organise football tourney for PDP, APC, others

As part of efforts geared towards sensitising Nigerians on peace path ahead of 2023 general elections using sports, Twenty Bucks Creative and Jalo Okwor Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

At the signing ceremony in Abuja on Wednesday October 12, 2022, Chief Executive Officer/founder of Twenty Bucks Creative Charbel Olusanya Jarrouge said the foundations came together to forge a common front in rallying Nigerians, particularly political parties before 2023 elections.

Jarrouge disclosed that by December 2022, a football tournament will be organised between various political parties including People’s Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP), among others.

He said, “Our focus is Campaign against violent election, “Nigeria 2023”

“And our Goal is to host a football tournament in December 2022 and the teams include all political parties in Nigeria, which are (APC, PDP, LABOUR, NNPP, AAC, etc)

“For those that are willing to participate in this tournament, we would contact the youth leaders to organise a team that would represent their party for the event.
