Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi Share Their Emotional Pregnancy Journey

By  Milcah  Tanimu

Nollywood actress Blessing  BObasi and her husband Stan Nze have opened up about the heartwarming moment they discovered they were expecting their first child. The couple, eagerly anticipating parenthood, provided their fans and followers with an intimate glimpse into their pregnancy journey through a touching video on their YouTube channel.

In the video, the couple recounted how they learned about the pregnancy individually. Blessing excitedly shared that she discovered she was two months pregnant just days before her birthday, which fell on May 6, 2023. She revealed that during an event at a friend’s showroom where she was standing in for her husband, she confided in a friend about her headache and discomfort. That friend suggested she take a pregnancy test, a suggestion Blessing initially hesitated to follow because she didn’t want to face potential disappointment. However, she eventually decided to take the test, which joyously confirmed her pregnancy. Blessing, filled with gratitude and prayers for this long-awaited blessing, shed tears of joy for hours.

Meanwhile, her husband, who was out of the country at the time, received the surprise of a lifetime on Blessing’s birthday. His wife, along with their close friends, presented him with a box of baby gifts, which he initially found perplexing. Stan couldn’t grasp the meaning behind this unusual gift until Blessing revealed the wonderful news: she was pregnant.

The heartwarming video has garnered well-wishes from various celebrities, including Omoni Oboli, Destiny Etiko, Juliana Olayode, Juliet Ibrahim, and others, who extended their love and support to the expectant couple.
