By Muhammad Ibrahim,Sokoto
State Minister for water resources and sanitation Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo was in Cross River state for familiarization tour to calabar River Basin Development Authority.
The Minister and his entourage were on arrival to calabar the state capital received by the state Governor Senator Bassey Edet Otu and the Ogbon of Calabar Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V.
The Minister was honored by the state Governor as a visitor to the state who went on official engagement to inspect some Dams in the State for economic growth of the country.
The Minister is expected to visit
Cross River Basin Development Authority (CRBDA) which is the agency that manages the sustainable development of the land and water resources of the cross river basin in the construction of dams, irrigation systems, boreholes, control of flood and erosion etc.
The Basin  is also to improve agriculture and rural development through irrigation, control of river pollution and also to assist farmers in processing food crops.
It was not surprising to see the Minister wearing traditional calabar attire looking just like the man born from area.
But Nigeria with vast and reach cultural heritage one need not to ask why we dress in our brothers attire. The answer is simple as Nigeria is a one unified country anyone can appear like his or her counterpart in another part of the nation.
