A married woman and two of her daughters have been reportedly kidnapped in from their residents in Kaduna State.
The wife and two daughters of the former Chairman of NURTW Kaduna state branch, Alhaji Alhassan Haruna, AKA 313, were kidnapped in Mando area of Kaduna town in the night of 1st October.
The Kaduna police Command spokesman Muhammad jalige could not respond when contacted on the sad incident.
However, a tweets by Senatior Shehu Sani confirmed the incident, adding that the victims are still in the custody of kidnappers since
their abduction from their home. The tweet made available to our Correspondent in Kaduna yesterday night called on Nigerians to prayer for the safety release of the victims.

Bandits kidnap Mother of 3, demand N30m ransom in kaduna

A mother of three children have been reportedly kidnapped in kaduna town by armed gunmen. A family member of the victim who disclosed the information to our Correspondent in anonymity said they were contact on Friday by the bandits taken custody of the woman and demanded for N30 million ransom.
The woman was kidnapped on Monday from her matrimonial home in kariji, a popular community along Yakowa new road in Chikun local government area of the kaduna town.
The source said she was kidnapped in the Monday midnight by the Bandits in present of family members.
Findings revealed that the bandits misunderstood the husband for a successful car dealer under COVID-19 pandemic and poor car business climate. This is the third time Bandits invaded the area and kidnapped residents in less than a month. BREAKING: 17 allegedly kidnapped in a village in Kaduna State

Again no few than 17 persons have been reportedly kidnapped in a village in Chikun local government Area of kaduna state.
Eye witness sources also stated that four other persons narrowllly escaped the kidnappers attacks with bullets wounds .Although the information available was scantty at the time of filling this report, but sources said the incident happened in Uduwa village along Birnin Gwari highway on Saturday.,
In a statement posted on Nigeria union of journalists, NUJ, kaduna state Council WhatsApp group chat by a council leader on Sunday, stated that “17 persons were kidnapped yesterday at Uduwa village while four others escaped with bullets.

Female doctor kidnapped in Cross River regains freedom
The abducted female medical doctor in Cross River, Dr Vivien Otu, has regained freedom.
Chairman of Nigeria Medical Association in the state, Dr Innocent Abang, confirmed her release in a telephone interview with NAN on Friday in Calabar.
Otu was kidnapped on Aug. 28 in Calabar and released on the night of Sept. 3.
Abang said, “I can confirm to you that our colleague has been released from captivity.
“We thank the security agencies, state government, the media and all stakeholders for their respective contributions in ensuring her release,” he said.
Also, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Ugbo, also confirmed the release of the abducted doctor

Bandits kidnap former Zamfara commissioner’s children, kill neighbour
Bandits in Zamfara State in the early hours of Tuesday kidnapped the children of a former commissioner for Local Governments in the state, Alhaji Bello Dankande Gamji.
A neighbour who attempted to rescue the children when the bandits forcefully entered the former commissioner’s house was also said to have been killed while the watchman was kidnapped along with Gamji’s three children.
Narrating the ordeal on the telephone to our correspondent, Gamji said the bandits went to his house in the early hours of Tuesday around 4am while he was in Gusau town, the state capital.
He said he received a phone call from his family intimating him of the sad incident and he immediately rushed to the village.
He explained that the bandits had fired many shots into the house, thinking that he was around and killed Shafiu Isa Gamji, a neighbour who had come to rescue his children in the process.
Gamji said, “I received a phone call from my family in the early hours of today, intimating me of the sad incident and I immediately rushed to the village.
“They killed my neighbor, Shafi,u Isa Gamji, who came to rescue the family on the spot and abducted four others in the house namely, Mujtaba Bello Gamji, Abdulmutallab Bello Gamji, Bashiru Gamji and the watchman, Mansur Suleiman.”
He said he had reported the matter to the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Bakura Local Government Area, Alhaji Garba Mahuta, adding that some officials of the military, police, and Civil Defence Corps had already visited the house.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Shehu Mohammed said, “The police are aware of the kidnap of the four persons from the former commissioner’s house.
“The person, Shafi,u Isa Gamji, who was shot dead by the bandits was a neighbor of the former commissioner who confronted the bandits in a bid to render assistance.”
He stated that the police command has already drafted its personnel in order to rescue the kidnapped persons as it has been doing in the past.

Outrage as gunmen kidnap CAN Chairman
…abductors demand N20m ransom
Christian community in Nasarawa state has condemned the kidnap of the Association’s Chairman in the state, Mr. Joseph Masin yesterday.
The kidnap of Mr. Masin was confirmed by the State Police Commissioner, Bola Longe in Lafia, the state capital yesterday morning.
He told journalists that the bishop was taken from his house in Bukan-sidi in Lafia around 12:39 a.m. Thursday and that the police have mobilised officers as well as hunters to free the cleric.
Corroborating the incident a former Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN in the state, Mr. Yohanna Samari said the bishop was abducted by the attackers at midnight at his Bukan-sidi residence.
According to Mr. Samari the abductors took the CAN Chairman away on a motorcycle explaining however, that nobody was hurt during the incident but the family had been greatly traumatised.
Tayo Samuel, the CAN Vice Chairman in the state, said the abductors had contacted the family, demanding N20 million ransom.

Police confirm kidnap of SA on LG to Gov Sule
The Nasarawa Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Mr John Mamma, Special Adviser (SA) to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development.

Ramhan Nansel, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) confirmed this on Sunday in Lafia.
According to Nansel, the SA was abducted in his country home, Dari village of Kokona Local Government Area (LGA) of the state on Saturday night.
The PPRO said that based on the information available to them, about 10 unknown gunmen stormed the SA’s house around 8:00p.m on Saturday and abducted him.
“The kidnappers stormed his compound and began shooting sporadically before whisking him to an unknown destination,” the Police spokesperson said.
Nansel said that Police Commissioner, Bola Longe had directed the Divisional Police Officer in the area and the Area Commandant to mobilise and comb the bush to ensure the victim was rescued unhurt.
He, therefore, called on members of the public to furnish the police with relevant information that would lead to the rescue of the victim and apprehension of the kidnappers.
