Laycon and Dorathy will be the last housemates standing…” Nigerians predict BBNaija 2020 winner, runners-up
Viewers of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija 2020, have predicted that Laycon will emerge winner while Dorathy will lead the runners-up in the finale of season 5 next week Sunday.
Recall that Laycon, Dorathy, Neo, Vee and Nengi on Sunday emerged as the top five housemates and this year’s winner will emerge from one of the aforementioned housemates.
Interestingly Nigerians have shared their reactions to the final selection of housemates.

Majority of Nigerians predicted Laycon would emerge as the winner and Dorathy or Nengi as the second position.

#BBnaija: Laycon Sets new Record to Become First Ever BBNaija Housemate To Get 1m Followers
Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Laycon has just set the record of being the first housemate ever to hit a million followers while still in the house.
Laycon’s IG page achieved this feat moments ago and as such, he’s become the first housemate ever to hit the million mark as a result of the fame he’s garnered in the Big Brother house.
It could be recalled that Laycon was also the first housemate of the fifth edition of the reality TV show to be verified on Instagram with just 45k followers on the photo sharing platform.
Before he made it into the Big Brother house, Laycon —a talented 24 year old rapper— had just close to 4k followers but few days after viewers got to know him and had a liking for his personality, his amount of follows skyrocketed in no time and now, he’s copped a whopping million followers.

BBNaija: Laycon, Ozo, Trickytee and Dorathy nominated for possible eviction
After the unbelievable twist Big Brother introduced to the game, Laycon, Dorathy, Ozo and Trickytee have been announced as the housemates up for possible eviction.
The housemates were nominated for eviction after Big Brother divided all the housemates, except Nengi into two groups. Each group were instructed to nominate two people from the other group for possible eviction. The group were named Black and White.
The Black group consisted of Dorathy, Neo and Ozo while the White group consisted of Laycon, Vee and Trickytee. The Black group however nominated Laycon and Trickytee while the White group nominated Ozo and Dorathy for possible eviction.
This automatically means Neo, Vee and Nengi has automatically secured a position among the top 5 housemates for the show.

‘We need more women in the house’ – Laycon tells Big Brother three days after Erica’s disqualification
Barely three days after Erica’s disqualification, BBNaija housemate Laycon mentioned during a conversation with Dorathy that the house needs more female housemates and Big Brother should bring in new ones.
According the 26 year old musician, its a weather for two but unfortunately, there are just 3 girls in the house.
“We need more women in the house, there are just three girls in the house how do we share them. We have weather for two and no one to cuddle, unless we share one girl with two guys” – Laycon lamented
Recall that last weekend, Erica was disqualified from the ongoing reality TV show and the most dramatic housemate for the season, Lucy was also evicted making Nengi, Dorathy and Vee the only females left in the midst of 6 boys.

BBNaija 2020: Erica will forgive you – Kiddwaya consoles Laycon
Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate Kiddwaya on Monday morning consoled Laycon over Erica’s disqualification.
Laycon was feeling sad about her disqualification and said he will always support Erica despite their rift.
Kiddwaya, responding assured him that Erica will forgive him but it would take time.
According to him, housemates need each other outside the house to succeed.
“With time, Erica will forgive you eventually. Because at some point, we need each other to do stuff outside the house.”

BBNaija: Actress Lilian Afegbai advises Erica on what to do to Laycon outside the house
Nollywood actress and former big brother Naija housemate, Lilian Afegbai was expressed her mind over the recent disqualification of Erica Ngozi Nlewedim from the 2020 edition of the reality show. Also advising her on what to do.
For Lillian, Erica Nlewedim would learn her mistakes, dust if off and move on. The lingerie boss also added that disqualification is not the end of the world for Erica Ngozi Nlewedim.
Ms Afegbai made known her position via her social media platforms where she wrote: “Erica people make mistakes and learn from it. You will do great outside, nobody is perfect. A lot of you saying bullshit, she didn’t waste any platform. She made a mistake and would learn from it. It’s not the end of the world. It’s not easy to be in Big brother house.#BBNaija”
Adding, ” There are consequences in life for every action and it’s okay to face them.
When laycon comes out, she will apologize and everyone will move on.”

‘I have no reason to settle with Erica’ – Laycon breaks silence
During diary session with Big Brother, Laycon decided to talk about the incident that happened between Erica and himself.
When Big Brother asked Laycon who is up for possible eviction, if he would like to settle disputes with any of the housemates before the eviction begins, the musician replied saying as much as he need to settle with Erica, he does not see the need to.
According to Laycon, he does not have any reason to settle with Erica because he would rather let the sleeping dog lie. He added that settling with the 26 year old will only make matters worse and not better

BBNaija: Erica becomes the first head of house to get disqualified
Most talked about housemate and promising winner, Erica has just been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija reality show, abruptly ending her dreams to be in the house for 71 days.
Her disqualification comes after a very messy and nasty fight with Laycon few hours after the Saturday Night party.
Recall that Laycon was verbally attacked by Erica for refusing to address claims he made about her some days ago. Erica who seemed to be under the influence of alcohol rained curses on Laycon and also body-shamed him. The angered lady also went as far at issuing threats to his life and urging viewers not to vote for him because he has been manipulative in the house.
The 26 year old earned more than 3 strikes already and a very last warning last weekend. This automatically led to Erica’s disqualification from the show., making her the first head of house to be disqualified in the history of Big Brother house.

BBNaija: Laycon reveals why he didn’t exchange words with Erica
Following the incident that transpired few hours after the Saturday night party, Laycon has revealed why he did not exchange words with Erica during the fight.
Recall that Laycon maintained his cool and kept quiet after he was verbally attacked by Erica for refusing to address claims he made about her some days ago. Erica who already angry and intoxicated went as far at issuing threats to his life and urging viewers not to vote for him because he has been manipulative in the house.
According to the 26 year old Musician, he intentionally did not exchange words with Erica because he did not want her to get evicted from the reality show. Laycon explained that exchanging words with her would trigger her anger and would misbehave because she was under the influence of alcohol.
He said Erica’s anger and misbehavour could earn her another strike and this automatically leads to her disqualification from the show because she already has more than two strikes already.

Popular Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola has revealed his favourite BBNaija 2020 housemate.

For those who do not know, Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe is a 26-year-old singer and rapper from Lagos. He’s a graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos who started his musical journey at an early age and has now emerged as one of Nigeria’s most promising new school acts. He describes himself as being versatile and able to coin words together to soothe scenarios and moods.
