    22 ships with petroleum products, food items waiting to berth — NPA

    The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 22 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods have arrived the Lagos Port Complex and waiting to berth.

    The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Wednesday.

    According to it, the ships are carrying containers, general cargo and petrol.

    The publication said that 20 ships were expected at the ports with fuel, containers, general cargo, frozen fish, bulk wheat, base oil and bulk sugar.

    It added that the ships were expected between Wednesday and Feb. 22.

    The organisation also said that 18 other ships were at the ports discharging general cargo, containers, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, base oil butane gas and frozen fish. (NAN)

    The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 18 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods on or before Jan. 16.

    The NPA made this disclosure in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Thursday.

    According to it, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

    The publication stated that the ships contained petrol, containers, general cargo, frozen fish, bulk salt, butane, bulk sugar and bulk wheat.

    NPA said that 19 ships had alteady arrived the ports, waiting to berth with containers and fuel.

    Also, the organisation said that 20 other ships were already at the ports discharging butane gas, general cargo, containers, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, petrol, and base oil. (NAN)

    18 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports

    The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 18 ships laden with petroleum products, food and other goods at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports from Monday to March 18.

    It stated this on Monday in its daily “Shipping Position’’ publication released in Lagos.

    The NPA said that one of the 18 ships would sail in with petrol.

    The other 17 ships, according to it, are carrying general cargo, bulk sugar, base oil, frozen fish, bulk gyspum, bulk salt, buckwheat and containers carrying different goods.

    It also said that 15 ships with general cargo, container, aviation fuel and petrol, had arrived at the ports waiting to berth.

    The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) in it’s daily publications “Shipping Position’’ on Thursday said that 20 ships are expected to berth in Apapa and Tin Can Island ports from Feb. 28 to March 21.

    The ships would be bringing petroleum products, food and other goods.

    Daybreak.ng reports that one of the ships will sail in with petrol.

    The other 19 would carry general cargo, bulk sugar, base oil, frozen fish, ethanol and other goods.

    According to the publication, 13 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with containers, aviation fuel, and petrol.
