Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, has revealed that the Nigeria Police Force is committed to conducting a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the untimely demise of the late Nigerian artiste, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.

Mohbad, a 27-year-old singer and former signee of Naira Marley’s Marlian Records, tragically passed away last Tuesday, sparking concerns and inquiries into the circumstances of his death.

In a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, @Princemoye1, the Force PRO expressed the need for an extensive inquiry into the matter. He tweeted, “Mohbad: Let’s open our minds and widen the scope of investigation to unravel the case.”

Adejobi continued, “Many would, by now, agree with me or concur with my assertion that we need a thorough investigation to expose some hidden facts. We will spotlight many areas and interrogate as many individuals as possible to get to the root of the matter and ensure justice is served.”

He emphasized the importance of maintaining an open-minded and flexible approach in investigations, noting that there is no fixed methodology. Adejobi assured the public that the investigation is ongoing, urging patience in awaiting the outcome.
