Tambuwal Has Not Declared Ambition For 2023

By Muhammad Goronyo,Sokoto
Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has not declared his intention to contest for President as has been reported by some social media outfits.
This was contained in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Sokoto by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor, Muhammad Bello.
The statement further said for the avoidance of doubt, nothing can be further from the truth than this. Gov. Tambuwal has not declared his political intention in recent times, so the news about his running for the highest political office is a figment of the imagination of some overzealous social media activists.
For this reason, the governor dissociates himself from such fabricated misinformation and misleading reportage.
The governor posits that his focus now is on delivering good governance and the dividends of democracy to the people of Sokoto State.
