Taraba Kidnap kingpin, Wadume, rearrested

Allged Taraba kidnap kingpin. Hamisu Wadume has been RE-arrested by the police according to sources from the police headquarters.

Although information about his rearrest is still sketchy,it was however reliably gathered that the rearrest was the result of painstaking efforts by the IGP special squad which has been on his trail since his escape about three weeks ago

Mr Wadume was reportedly sighted at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday. Police authorities are expected to release a statement confirming the arrest any moment from now.

Calls made to Frank MBA, the Force spokesman neither denied nor confirmed the arrest. He however said a statement would be made available to the media soon.
