Tekno Embraces Romance with Dual Single Drop: ‘Gon Gon’ & ‘No Forget’

By Milcah Tanimu

Nigerian afrobeats star Tekno is back in the spotlight with a fresh musical offering, releasing two new singles today: “Gon Gon” and “No Forget.” This release comes on the heels of his recent success and new partnership with Mr Eazi’s emPawa Africa.

New Music Unveiled

“Gon Gon”: Produced by Egar Boi, known for his work with artists like Yemi Alade and Zlatan, “Gon Gon” is an amapiano-infused track where Tekno expresses his desire for a special someone to be his one and only. Its vibrant beats and engaging lyrics are expected to make it a summer hit.

– “No Forget”: This R&B ballad, crafted by Jacob Hunter and produced by Louddaaa, offers a more emotional side of Tekno. Here, he pours his heart into a promise of enduring love, showcasing his depth and vocal range in a soulful performance.

Continuing the Musical Journey

These new releases build on the success of Tekno’s earlier single “Wayo,” which garnered significant attention and streams. With this new music, Tekno continues to explore and expand his musical horizons under his new label partnership.

“I’m thrilled to share these tracks with my fans. ‘Gon Gon’ is about fun and love, while ‘No Forget’ delves into deeper emotional connections. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I enjoyed making them,” Tekno shared in a recent interview.

Both singles are now available on major streaming platforms, promising to captivate fans with Tekno’s unique blend of upbeat rhythms and heartfelt melodies.
