Addressing newsmen at the APC headquarters in Sokoto, the state party chairman Isah Sadiq Achida enumerated that Some of the key accomplishments that include, Improving Teachers’ Welfare.
The state government has taken decisive steps to enhance the welfare of teachers, demonstrating its commitment to education.
This move is expected to boost teacher morale and productivity, ultimately benefiting students and the education sector as a whole, tackling Water Crisis-Governor Ahmad Aliyu’s administration has prioritized addressing the water crisis in Sokoto, recognizing access to basic resources like water as a fundamental right.
This initiative is part of a broader vision for development in the state, Agricultural Development- Although specific details are not available, Governor Ahmad Aliyu’s background in public service suggests potential initiatives in agricultural development, given his experience in various roles, including deputy governor and commissioner in several ministries.
Improving pro-active measures, Governor Ahmad Aliyu has constructed series of roads networks across 23 local governments in the state, provided 140 vehicles to security establishments to counter insecurity, provide tricycles, motorcycles, grinding machines, financial assistance to various groups and individuals for self-sufficiency and hosts of meaningful projects were executed by Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto in the two years he is leading the state.
It’s worth noting that Governor Ahmad Aliyu has been involved in various capacities in Sokoto State’s government, including serving as deputy governor from 2015-2018 and executive secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund. His experience and commitment to public service may contribute to the state’s progress under his leadership
