As the CAC Vineyard of Comfort , Abuja celebrate the 2022 Good Women Anniversary, Lady Evangelist Oluwatoyin Elekolusi has disclosed that the vision of the Women under the umbrella of the Church is to imbibe the virtue of good home building.
Elekolusi who doubles as the assistant to the Assembly Pastor made this known at the Church Auditorium on Sunday said that the theme for this year’s Anniversary, ” The Power of the Spiritual Woman in the Home and Nation” was apt owing to the state of the nation.
She explained that the vision of the Good Women is to make all female members of the church to be successful home builders by impacting positively on their homes through their husbands, children and in their environment.
” When there is a good home, good Community, there would be a good nation, she noted.
The root of the problems bedeviling Nigeria today could be linked to the lackadaisical attitude of majority of women who lack discipline and the Word of God and this has degenerated into the social challenges the nation is facing, she emphasized.
The Guest Minister, Deaconesses Josephine Salako in her sermon titled ” The Power of the Spiritual Woman in her Home and Nation” quoted the Book of Proverbs 22 verses 15 – 21 to back the Biblical injunction of the duties of the virtuous woman.
Salako in her preaching enjoined women to draw their inspiration from the Bible for the upliftment of their families through constant prayers for their husbands and children.
She also urged women to desist from raining abuses and curses on their spouses but to pray for them.
She further called on women to endeavor to bring up their children in the godly way.
Assembly Pastor of the CAC Vineyard of Comfort, Abuja, Pastor Olaway Elekolusi speaking with Daybreak said that the women fold of the church is very supportive , adding that this year is for spiritual upliftment of the Church and the nation.
He advised the women to be good home builders and keepers.
President of the Good Women Association, Deaconesses Deborah Odanye speaking to Daybreak said that the women were celebrating the annual thanksgiving to appreciate God for the protection of the women in the church and also the members.
Deaconesses Odanye noted that despite the insecurity in the country, the church has not recorded any incident of kidnapping or payment of ransom any any of it’s members.
She urged women to keep their homes, be faithful to their husbands and to be responsible mother’s to their children. And to always light their candle.
Deaconesses Funmilola Gabriel , Assistant President of the Good Women Association of the Church said the women are particular about the progress of the church, adding that the over 60 members have gathered to express their support for the progress of the work of God.
