Larger Scale:
The second CIIE covers a total floor area of 360,000 square meters, and the area of business exhibition has increased from 270,000 square meters to 330,000 square meters.
It is participated by over 3,000 enterprises from more than 150 countries and regions. The numbers of participating countries, regions, international organizations and exhibitors all exceed those in the previous year.
Higher Quality:
The numbers of Fortune Global 500 enterprises and industry flagships exceed those in the first CIIE. “Hidden champions”, or relatively small but highly successful companies, are taking part in the event.
More Activities:
Over 300 activities will be held to promote the products.
Over 140 exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage and China’s time-honored brands will be held in 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
Great Performance in Attracting Merchants:
Over half a million professional buyers from home and abroad have signed up for the event, much more than those in the first CIIE, and those in most of the international professional exhibitions.
They are from all sectors of the national economy. 31 percent are from the manufacturing sector, and 23 percent from the wholesale and retailing sector.
Around 3,600 foreign buyers attended the first CIIE, while over 7,000 have registered for the second session.
