The Only Female Reps Contestant In Sokoto Decried Over Undue Manipulation

The only female contestant in the House Of Representatives under the umbrella of APC to represent Tureta,Dange-Shuni and Bodinga local governments has decried over the manipulation of delegates earlier approved by INEC.

Barrister Sa’adatu Yusuf Muhammad hopefully depending on her delegates to votes her as the candidate to represent the three local governments decried over the switch over of delegates earlier approved.

She openly said the old ones should be brought back to vote or face legal action.

One of delegates when contacted said he only contacted officials of his ward in Tureta local government and was granted the right as genuine delegate to participate as one adding that he himself was surprised of the immediate approval.

Another male delegate said a female delegate bearing Hauwa’u was removed and was told to replace her but”as I am not a female I delegated my wife move ahead and vote in her place”.

One of the APC chieftains in Bodinga local government and a serving state House of Assembly member, Alhaji Bodai said the electioñ process as provided by the constitution must be followed or stop the exercise until proper arrangements are made.
