This story of Emmanuel Somto, Mr Model International Africa 2019 will inspire you

Every industry has its own stars and people who flip all cards. In Nigerian modelling industry, Emmanuel somto is one of the A-list stars pushing the industry to a great level.

Hailing from Imo, Nigeria, Emmanuel somto, who won Mr teen Nigeria in 2016, has seen his career escalated quickly with major appearances on top-level fashion shows and Tv commercials .

After obtaining his West African examination certificate (WAEC) from Eziama Ikeduru commercial secondary school in 2013 , somto completed his National Diploma in Marketing from the Federal polytechnic Nekede, Imo state.

In a bid to further his education, somto Moved to Bangkok in 2019 to study International Business at Siam University, Bangkok Thailand.

The 23-year model gain wide recognition in the industry after competing in the Mister Model International Pageant with others models from the globe and winning the Mister Model Africa 2019. Few months later, he was signed into Apple Model Management in Thailand as the only native African model.

Recalling his experience into the industry;

“Growing up in Imo, I have always wanted to become a Tv personality and model. I had the chance to work with an agency for the first time in 2012 under House of Dhabry khency. There, I was prepared for Glo The Ultimate Nigerian model and Mr Tourism Nigeria. Never had the chance to place or win any of the title until 2016 when I went for Mr teen Nigeria and was declared the winner.

Speaking on his journey towards winning Mister model Africa he added,” It was really hard. It was my first experience going for an international contest. I was glad I made Nigeria proud and this will be remembered as one of achievements that shaped my entire career”

His incredible versatility is a great indicator that he’s in for a promising career. We can’t wait to see where he place in the nearest future.
