President Bola Tinubu has appointed eight new permanent secretaries to fill vacancies in the Federal Civil Service across various states and geopolitical zones.

The appointments were made following recommendations from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, which conducted a rigorous selection process. This was disclosed in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Monday evening.

The statement, titled *‘President Tinubu Appoints Eight New Permanent Secretaries,’* listed the appointees as follows:

1. Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia State)
2. Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa State)
3. Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi State)
4. Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)
5. Kalba Usman (Gombe State)
6. Usman Aminu (Kebbi State)
7. Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)
8. Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)

This marks the second set of permanent secretaries appointed by President Tinubu, following the first group selected in June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, the South-East, and the South-South.

President Tinubu urged the newly appointed officials to uphold a high level of commitment, diligence, and innovation in their service to the nation.
