Tinubu Mourns Passing of Former Yobe Governor, Bukar Ibrahim

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim, the former governor of Yobe State. The President conveyed his condolences through a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngalale. Senator Ibrahim passed away at the age of 73 in Saudi Arabia after battling a prolonged illness. Serving as Yobe State governor from May 1999 to May 2007 and later representing Yobe East in the Senate in 2007, Senator Ibrahim was recognized as a dedicated leader. President Tinubu, describing him as a personal friend, acknowledged Ibrahim’s significant contributions to the progress and welfare of the people. He extended heartfelt sympathies to the late Senator’s family, friends, associates, and the people of Yobe State, praying for his eternal rest.
