Tinubu’s Development Agenda Positively Impacts Northwest Zone, Says APC Stakeholders

During a meeting in Kaduna on Sunday, stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Northwest Zone highlighted the positive impacts of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s development agenda, particularly in Human Capital Development, Agriculture, Education, Poverty Alleviation, and Infrastructure.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, who serves as the Northwest coordinating governor, presented the communique from the meeting at Umar Yar’adua Hall, Murtala Muhammad Square. He emphasized the party’s efforts to resolve internal disputes and strengthen its structure for future electoral success.

Governor Sani stated, “The meeting commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his dedication to fulfilling his campaign promises. The stakeholders noted the significant measures taken by the President to address Nigeria’s security and developmental challenges, as well as the reforms aimed at revitalizing the economy and combating inflation.”

The stakeholders praised Tinubu’s initiatives, which have particularly benefited the Northwest Zone, and lauded the security agencies for their ongoing efforts to maintain regional security.

Recognizing the extensive developmental challenges in the Northwest, the stakeholders expressed their intention to seek continued support and intervention from President Tinubu. They called for sustained backing of Tinubu’s administration, acknowledging his commitment and courage in addressing the nation’s issues.

Governor Sani also commended legislative leaders, including Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Deputy Senate President Senator Jibrin Barau, for their work on the North West Development Commission Bill. The stakeholders urged the National Assembly to expedite the bill’s passage to promote national cohesion and even development.

Additionally, the meeting praised President Tinubu’s commitment to completing critical projects in the Northwest, such as the Abuja – Kaduna – Kano Highway, the Sokoto – Badagry Road Project, and the Lagos – Kaduna – Kano – Katsina – Maradi Rail Project. These projects are expected to boost economic activity, reduce poverty, enhance security, and foster national unity.

The stakeholders also acknowledged the efforts of regional political leaders and called for increased efforts to enhance the political influence of the Northwest within Nigeria.

They commended the APC National Leadership for upholding democratic ideals and recognized the contributions of ministers, special advisers, and presidential aides from the zone in supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Finally, the stakeholders expressed their appreciation for the APC faithful and the resilience of the populace in the Northwest, urging continued support for the government at all levels. They also acknowledged the leadership of Governors Dikko Radda (Katsina State), Umar Namadi (Jigawa State), Nasiru Idris (Kebbi State), and Ahmad Aliyu (Sokoto State) for their credible governance.
