Two Geepee staff conspired with one, stealing bags of raw materials

Oselenbalu and Ige, staff of Geepee company, stole two bags of raw materials called”borough Polythylene” worth N55,000 belonging to
their employer and conspired with one Nurudeen who received the stolen item.

The Police ,on Monday charged the three men with conspiracy and theft to a magistrate court in Ota Ogun State for allegedly stealing two bags of Polythylene materials worth N55,000.

The Prosecution Counsel, Inspector E. O. Adaraloye,told the court that the defendants committed the offence on 24th March at Geepee Company,Ijako Ota at 8:50, they however pleaded not guilty.

Having contravened the provisions of sections 390(9) and 516 of the Criminal Code,Laws of Ogun,2006. Magistrate A. O. Adeyemi admitted the defendants to bail with the sum of N100,000 with one surety each in like sum.

He also ordered that the sureties must reside within the Court’s jurisdiction and be gainfully employed with evidence of tax payy to Ogun State Government; she therefore adjourned the case until 29th April.
