Two women get leadership and service to humanity award in Kaduna

Two members of Women for Peace in Nigeria (WOPIN) have been given Kaduna Achievers and Leadership Awards. The two awardee include Grace Magaji, Kaduna State coordinator and Dr Safiya Umar, North central coordinator of the WOPIN.

Presenting the award to the awardees on Saturday, the organiser of the award “Unique Global lnitiative in collaboration with kaduna Hall Fame”, explained that the award is in recognition of their exceptional achievement, giant stride, leadership services to humanity and contribution to the development of kaduna State.


Speaking in an interview, the awardees, Dr Safiya Umar and Grace Magaji, thanked the organiser of the award.

They also expressed satisfaction that the award would boost their morale and served as a motivation to do more by way of contributing to humanity through WOPIN, charged with the responsibility to bring peace to the society through the family.

Music Entertainment, inspirational speakers and speeches among other things were presented during the ceremony held at Arewa house, Kaduna.
