Tyem Earns Praise for Economic, Agricultural Strides

By Israel Adamu, Jos

Farmers and residents of Langtang North Local Government Area, Plateau State, have commended the Executive Chairman, Hon. Pirfa Jingfa Tyem, for his strides in boosting agriculture and revitalizing the local economy.

The commendation follows the recent distribution of subsidized fertilizer to farmers under the council’s agricultural support initiative.

A farmer, Nanpak Tali, noted that Hon. Tyem’s leadership has brought positive change across communities, especially in health, education, and human capital development.

Residents also praised his proactive efforts in enhancing trade, commerce, and infrastructure. Businesswoman Ramya Nanpon said the chairman is aligning well with the developmental agenda of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

Traders and other community members described Hon. Tyem’s leadership as responsive and grassroots-focused. “He is the true definition of government at the grassroots,” said Laraba Nanfa, a resident.

They also commended his transparency and accountability, which have fostered trust and community collaboration for sustainable development in Langtang North.
