UNIZIK CONFUSCIUS INSTITUTE WINS 2020 JUNIOR CHINESE BRIDGE COMPETITION

Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka have achieved another milestone as its Confucius Institute on Monday emerged victorious returning first and second positions in the 2020 Junior Chinese Bridge Competition for undergraduate and secondary school students.

It is the first time that the University would cover two Nigerian Champion for both categories of the competitions for undergraduate students and Secondary School students.

The UNIZIK Confucius Institute has been rated highly as the best in the country in the past seven years which has seen the Ivory Tower spreading its tentacles by the establishment of the CI in other tertiary institutions across the country. UNIZIK and Xiamen University China had earlier developed a programme aimed at promoting the exchange of culture, tradition, science, technology and medicine between the two countries.

UNIZIK currently runs a degree programme on the Chinese Language as well as a Professional Programme HSK for both staff and students who wish to be proficient in speaking the Chinese Language.
