Lagos helicopter crash: Two including pilot dead, one rescued – NEMA

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has spoken on Friday’s helicopter crash in Lagos.

The chopper went down in Opebi area of Ikeja.

NEMA distributes over 3000 relief materials to flood victims

Acting Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office of NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, gave an update to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He said the crash occurred at No. 16, Salvation Road in Opebi, north of Lagos.

“One person was rescued alive and two persons died including the pilot,” Farinloye said.

Emergency responders are at the scene and an investigation has commenced.
