VeryDarkMan gives Wizkid FC 24 hours to unfollow him on Instagram challenge

Social media commentator VeryDarkMan has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to fans of Nigerian music star Wizkid, popularly known as Wizkid FC, asking them to unfollow his Instagram account.

The challenge followed a comment by a Wizkid fan, identified as thrynadee, who claimed that about 70 per cent of Wizkid FC currently follows VeryDarkMan. The fan suggested that Wizkid supporters should collectively unfollow him to prove their stance.

Reacting, VeryDarkMan said the claim could be tested immediately. He stated that if Wizkid FC truly accounts for a large share of his more than 2.8 million followers, a mass unfollowing should significantly reduce his numbers within 24 hours.

He set a specific benchmark, saying his follower count should drop to around 840,000 if the claim is accurate. According to him, failure to see such a drop would invalidate the fan’s assertion and, in his words, raise questions about the credibility of the fanbase’s claims.

VeryDarkMan described the move as a “test of integrity,” adding that the outcome would determine whether Wizkid FC should continue engaging him online in the same manner.

The exchange has since sparked fresh debate and reactions across social media platforms, with users closely watching whether the proposed unfollow challenge will have any measurable impact.
