Controversial socialite and activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkman, has taken his frustrations to the streets by leading a protest outside the headquarters of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). This demonstration comes after Otse’s complaints about the agency’s inaction were seemingly ignored.
The protest was sparked by VeryDarkman’s allegations against the “miracle products” sold by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyi, the leader of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries (CMDM). After calling out NAFDAC on social media for failing to investigate these products and labeling the agency as incompetent, VeryDarkman decided to escalate the matter by organizing a protest at NAFDAC’s main office in Abuja.
Leading a group of demonstrators, VeryDarkman demanded accountability from NAFDAC for not responding to his concerns about Fufeyi’s products. During the protest, he was vocal in expressing his dissatisfaction with the agency’s handling of his complaints, accusing NAFDAC of negligence and alleging that its staff exploit companies by charging excessive fees for product registration.
The protest attracted the attention of senior NAFDAC officials, who eventually came out to address the demonstrators. This led to a heated exchange between the officials and VeryDarkman, highlighting the activist’s ongoing frustration with the agency’s response.
