Veteran Journalist, Amedu, Buries Late Mother, June 30th, 2023

The burial of the mother of Mr. Joseph Amedu, a veteran Journalist, Late Mrs Mary Amedu Ejiga comes up on the 30th of June, 2023 at her country home, Ugwaka, in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi state.

According to the burial Arrangement released by Mr. Joseph Amedu on behalf of the family, the remains of late Mrs Mary Amedu Ejiga will leave Specialist Hospital, Lokoja on the 29th of June for Requem Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cathedral, Lokoja.

The release also indicates that the body of the deceased will depart Lokoja for her country home, Ugwaka, for Christian Wake-Keep at late Baba Amedu Ejiga’s compound same day.

On Friday, 30th June, 2023, there will be funeral Mass for her at St. Charles Catholic Church, Ugwaka/Olla and interment follows immediately at the family compound, Ugwaka.

Reception also follows at the same venue. Late Mrs Mary Amedu passed on to glory on the 29th of May, 2023.
