Video: Youths protest in front of Buhari’s Residence In Daura, demand that he addresses them

Several protesters suspected to be under the auspices of the #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest stormed the vicinity of the residence of former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State, Thursday.

The protesters reportedly requested that Buhari should address them at his residence before they would leave.

However, the situation was immediately put under control by the security agencie

Checks reveal that the protestors later “set up a bonfire in front of the former President’s house and were chanting loudly,”

After their futile attempts to convince the former President to address them in front of his residence, the youths reportedly headed for the palace of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Farouk Umar Farouk.

The organizers of the protests had stated that the demonstration is intended to convey their grievances to the Federal Government regarding the high cost of living and hardship in Nigeria associated with the removal of subsidy and floating of the naira
