WAEC Embraces Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for SSCE

In a significant development, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially transitioned from the traditional paper and pencil test format to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). This strategic move was revealed in a statement issued by Moyosola Adesina, the acting head of WAEC’s Public Affairs Unit.

The statement outlined that this transformative initiative is set to commence with the upcoming West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates scheduled for February 2024.
