We Are Working To Develop Kwakwaci Mechanic Village – Oyes

Kwakwacin Dawanau has been described as a place where more thousands of people depends for self reliance and employment opportunities since it’s relocation over 30 years ago but still in needs of so many infrastructure that can enable the mechanic village retains it’s status as the best mechanical industry in west Africa.

Daybreak News visited the mechanic village and reported that the place occupies quite a number of people of all categories working in different areas of mechanical engineering that is being recognised in Nigeria and of course some neighbouring countries in west African region which also needs special attention by the Kano state government and the Dawakin Tofa local government council.

Malam Shehu Ali Oyes who is a local government representative in Kwakwacin Dawanau mechanical industry told our correspondent that the Dawakin Tofa local government council would bring some progress at the mechanic village because from what is being seen, the place contributes greatly in the provision of employment opportunities to youths and reduce unemployment in the catchment area which is an important factor that is influencing economic progress.

He disclosed that the executive chairman of Dawakin Tofa locàl governed council, Ado Tambai Kwa is a hardworking leader who is always ready to bring good development to the mechanic village in order to maintain it’s standard as Africa’s best mechanical industry where every type of vehicles can be repaired and fixed at the place due to their experienced mechanics that are stand by for action.

In his brief remark, the spokesperson of the kwakwacin Dawanau mechanics association under the aegis of Nagerian Automobile Techniciàns Association(NATA), Malam Bala Dàhiru alias (Bala Canvass) said that ” this place occupies people more than expectations and we have 1uàlified mechanics that càn even repair an airplane but we needs more infrastructures and other things that would enable us to boost our occupation”.

He thànked the Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje for his efforts towards the progress of our occupation, and assured him that his urgent intervention at Kwakwacin Dawanau would be a great opportunity towards the progress of the mechanic village, and commended the Dawakin Tofa local government council chairman Alhaji Ado Tàmbai Kwa for his concern to the place, and called for collaboration between the state government and the council in boosting the famous place.
