We Formed Kano North Journalists Forum To Facilitates More Development-Chairman.

The chairman, caretaker committee of Kano North Journalists Forum Malam Shu’aibu Sani Bagwai has clarified that they decided to have a formidable forum that would enable them to bring more developments to the senatorial zone which comprised 13 local government areas.

He made the disclosure at the end of the Forum’s inaugural ceremony held at Radio Kano Thursday, adding that the members of the forum were derived from all the 13 local government areas that are under the kano north senatorial zone in order to work as a team towards the development of the constituency respectively.

Bagwai added that ” We are all journalists working with various media organisations across the country, and from what we have done, our journey would be longer than expectations and we are united to promote our zone because we are left behind in so many issues”. He stated.

Malam Shu’aibu Bagwai lamented that the Forum is non-partisan and it is not related to any politician and would never take side with any party or elected leaders rather than to work for the rapid development of kano north senatorial district.

In conclusion, Shu’aibu Sani Bagwai announced that “kano north journalists Forum is not a rival yo the mother NUJ, we are all under the umbrella of the union that is why our programmes was restricted to our senatorial zone and we would only work there as a progressive team”. He concluded.

The caretaker committee members are: Shu’aibu Sani Bagwai from Phyramid Radio as chairman,Sayyadi Haruna Vice Chairman from Freedom Radio, Abdulmumin Abubakar Tsanyawa, Secretary, Ahmed Adamu Rimin Gado Premier Radio as Deputy Secretary, Lawal Is a Bagwai from Radio Kano as Treasurer, Mas’ud Mato Garo from Phyramid Radio as PRO 1 and Abubakar Lawan Bichi Phyramid as PRO 2.
