Who Is Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo

Rt. Hon. Barrister Muhammad Bello Goronyo LLB, BI, Mphil, CMC, is a highly accomplished lawyer and a prominent political figure in Nigeria. He has served as the Zonal Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the North West zone and is currently the State Minister for Water and Environment..

Barrister Goronyo was born in Goronyo, Sokoto State, Nigeria, his father Abdulrrahman JODI (MAFARA), MAFARA is the Son of Umaru (SARKIN RIMA), Umaru is the son of Muhammadu Andu ( SARKIN RIMA), while Andu is the son of SARKIN MUSULMI Aliyu babba fourth sultan of Sokoto and also the son of SARKIN MUSULMI Muhammad Bello the first sultan of Sokoto and the second son of our father Sheik Usmanu Bin fodio ( founder of Sokoto caliphate). Indeed he is from the royal family.
Barrister Goronyo obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the Usman Dan fodio University. He began his legal career as a legal practitioner in Sokoto State, where he worked for several years before venturing into politics.

Barrister Goronyo has held several key positions in the APC, including serving as the Zonal Secretary. He is widely regarded as a highly skilled political strategist and has played a key role in the APC’s success in the North West zone. he served as minority leader, minority leader, and deputy speaker respectively in the state house of assembly, Sokoto state.

Goronyo has served as a commissioner in several ministries including the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Mines and mineral resources, and the Ministry of Information.

In addition to his political career, Barrister Goronyo is also a philanthropist and community leader. He has been actively involved in various community development projects, including the construction of schools, hospitals, and other infrastructure projects in his hometown of Goronyo.

Barrister Muhammad Bello Goronyo is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished lawyers and political figures in Nigeria, and his contributions to the political and legal sectors have earned him numerous accolades and awards throughout his career.
