Why it is important to hold your partner’s hand when walking together

It is common to meet couples holding hands while walking on the streets. Though some people may think that it is inappropriate to do so, holding hands with your partner has several benefits.

Couples should hold hands more often because there is a lot that is achieved through this simple action.
Here are some of the reasons why couples should hold hands.

1. It says ‘I love you’ without words
When you meet a couple holding hands, you automatically don’t need to be told that the two are in love. Holding hands is a simple way of showing your partner that you love and care about them.

2. It says ‘you are not alone’
When a partner holds your hands, this can also signify that you are not alone as he or she is there for you. Whenever your partner is going through a tough time, holding their hands is a sure way of assuring them that you are there for them. This gesture will communicate the message even when not accompanied by words.

3. It communicates to others that you’re proud to be with your partner
There are a number of couples that date in secret becaus e their partners are not proud of them. Holding hands, especially in public, is one way of showing others that you are proud to be with your partner.
