Windstorm Grounded Over 90 Houses In Sokoto

Windstorm in Baga, Alasar ward in Tambuwal local government has affected over 90 houses.

Commiserating with the victims, the Director general state Management Agency Alhaji Nasiru Alhaji described the incident as a will of Allah and called on them to ensure patience.

Nasiru inform that they were in the area to ascertain the level of damage caused by the storm and the affected areas for the state government assistance.

He assured them of the state government’s assistance to the affected people to alleviate hardship noting that the over 90 affected households are very in disorder and would receive government’s assistance immediately after the assessment.
